As seen by its features, the Asus ROG Azoth is a high-end mechanical keyboard that seeks to combine typing comfort and performance. Its 75% format seeks to maximize space on your desk, especially since Asus knows very well that this type of mechanical keyboard is primarily aimed at gamers, who rarely need a numeric keypad.
We ended up with a wireless keyboard that offers USB-C connectivity (for charging), and two wireless modes: by dongle and bluetooth. If you’re looking for a premium wireless mechanical keyboard for gaming, while optimizing your space and cable management, the Asus ROG Azoth is truly made for it.
Design and convenience
When we look at the Asus ROG Azoth keyboard, we can already see a small OLED screen on the top right of the object. This screen works in conjunction with the Armory Crate driver software. This will allow you to customize your experience by displaying the information you want, whether it’s battery, any logo, or even showing whether your keyboard is configured in Mac or PC mode.
Because yes, the Asus ROG Azoth works on Windows and Mac. Although this kind of object is primarily dedicated to gaming, we can highlight this effort on the part of Asus, which will allow people with a PC for gaming and a Mac for work, to use the same keyboard.
In terms of keypress quality, the ROG NX Switch definitely makes coffee. The typing is smooth and the strokes are a lot of fun especially in games. So let’s start from there because Asus Azoth is dedicated to gaming and allows me to use it in various types of games. Of course, in games like Overwatch 2, this keyboard hasn’t changed much for me compared to my old mechanical keyboard, but most importantly is above all the little noise that model makes.
Mechanical keyboards tend to be quite noisy, but the Asus ROG boasts a silicon membrane that really dampens noise. The result is quite “ASMR” keystrokes that change from the loud typewriter sound produced by certain models, you will no longer disturb your family or friends during your gaming sessions. The cap is long and complete, which allows the keyboard to produce a muffled sound. noise coupled with the switch, very pleasant to hear.
The Asus ROG Azoth keyboard has a fairly heavy metal chassis and non-slip pads, which allows it, despite its small size, not to move an inch on the table. Coupled with two covers (two different sizes) on the back, and you have a keyboard that adapts perfectly to your desk surface (wood, glass, etc.) while adopting the perfect tilt for your strokes.
When it comes to everyday typing, for example for work, this model still excels as it takes up little space and offers an exemplary sound compared to other mechanical keyboards in this kind of range.
Features of the Asus ROG Azoth
Who said games, said LED (of course)! The Asus Azoth has fully programmable LED backlight layers in the Armory Crate software, so you can adopt the style you want.
The keyboard comes with a lubrication kit to restore the health of your switches so they glide flawlessly. The key is very easy to remove even though the cover is long with the key remover included with the model. Therefore, the keyboard is easy to customize and all keys can be replaced.
The OLED panel at the top right of the keyboard allows you to obtain various information, such as battery status, current connections (USB, Bluetooth), as well as adjusting your PC’s sound level or backlight brightness. .
Regarding the battery, Asus promises 130 hours of autonomy (without backlight)., but I can’t measure actual endurance because in two weeks of use I didn’t need to charge it even once. Hence charging will not be a problem for you with this model.
Who said functionality, said driver software… And this time, there is only one black spot that accompanies all Asus gaming products. Armory Crate is still a good gas mill with lots of hard to find features and a crappy interface. The choices are many and handy, you still have to find them in the software.
Besides the Asus ROG Azoth keyboard, you can also find the Asus ROG Harpe Ace mouse test here:
I’ve never tested a mouse so light for playing video games, my experience after 1 month with Asus ROG Harpe Ace

Asus knows how to please gamers and this Asus Azoth mechanical keyboard shows us the craftsmanship of the brand. This 75% model has very handy features and a fully customizable profile to please everyone. The ROG NX switches are very comfortable to hit and the sound they produce is still much softer and pleasanter than what is typically found in the competition. Its metal frame and non-slip pads are very practical as they allow you to securely attach the keyboard to your desk, regardless of the surface.
