So fabulous! Around the “Mademoiselle Privé – Pique Aiguilles”, composed of five models of rare beauty, CHANEL pays homage to handicrafts and puts stars in our eyes.
Anyone who knows Gabrielle Chanel even a little knows that she never leaves two things behind when she is busy in her workshop: her scissors, tied like a necklace with a ribbon, and the indispensable syringe on her wrist. This traditional item, a metal bracelet decorated with a pin that holds a tailor’s needle, really caught the eye of Chanel’s Studio de Création Horlogerie. Its director, Arnaud Chastaingt, has turned it into five watches, each more eye-catching than the other, produced in 20 copies. This line, the handiwork of extraordinary craftsmen. enriches the collection “Métiers d’art”.

The impressive dial shape offers a tough surface for expression. “I envisioned this creation as a blank canvas for the most daring Métiers d’art. I envisioned five paintings for this collection: camellia lace, iconic bag compositions, jewelery throws, diamond embroidery, and jackets in the making. », Details Arnaud Chastaingt.
Each timepiece thus tells a story, a lore, a celebration of Chanel’s history, doubling down on a subtle, dazzling wink.
Mademoiselle Privé watching Pique-Aiguilles Decor Pearls:
Long necklaces, braided chains and Byzantine brooches were reproduced there with great precision. Yellow gold sculpts, lacquered by hand or set, are carefully placed on plates featuring black tweed in relief, an important Chanel signature. The composition is trimmed with diamond trim and gold sequins. A flexible strap in matte black grosgrain fabric frames a buckle set set with 45 brilliant-cut diamonds.

Mademoiselle Privé Pique-Aiguilles Lace Decor Watch
Manual engraving techniques have texturized the surface of the yellow gold dial and given it a soft feel of camellia lace.
Translucent “Grand Feu” enamel is then applied to sublimate and illuminate the subtleties of the carving and traditional transfer techniques are used to draw the motifs. All punctuated with pearls and five diamonds.

Precious pattern for a black tweed jacket trimmed with 92 diamonds. We had a great time finding the dice, scissors and tape measure, in sculpted gold, immediately led us to the workshop. To finish with majesty, the chain, much loved by Chanel, has been carefully cut into the dial.
