Carmina Burana at Zenith
This is a piece that continues to fascinate the general public. Compiled by Carl Orff between 1935 and 1936, Karmina Burana presented on Saturday on the stage of the Zénith d’Orléans: 1,500 audience expected. On stage, the orchestra, choir and ballet of the national theater Maria Biesu will be present, that is, one hundred artists.

Exhibition of antiques and crafts
and interior decoration
The 20th edition of the Antiques, Crafts and Interior Decoration Exhibition, proposed by the Festival Committee, is being held on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 January, at Espace Blareau de Sully. Opportunity to find pieces of pottery and porcelain, to admire many pieces of furniture and other curiosities.
The fair is thus aimed at lovers of the beautiful, for those who remain attached to a heritage rooted in the past, but also for visitors who are resolutely turning to the modern. note, actually, for five years now, the show is open to the interior decorating and design profession.

Exhibition of minerals, fossils, crystals,
jewelery and gems
From simple one-euro pebbles to museum pieces, including crystals, jewelry, gems, meteorites and other treasures, the Minerals and Fossils Exhibition returns this weekend, in Saint-Pryvé-Saint-Mesmin. Around thirty exhibitors will be present ready to offer visitors a journey through time between knowledge and imagination…

Improvisational theatre
On Saturday, in Saint-Jean-de-la-Ruelle, the Orleans Grossomodo troupe received improv zinzins from Lille. On stage, two teams of six players will face each other in the presence of the referee and emcee. The theme was drawn by lot and at the end of each improvisation, it was up to the public to vote for their favorite team.
Saturday, 8pm at L’Unisson, in Saint-Jean-de-la-Ruelle. Price: 8 euros, 5 euros (discounted).
The rise of the white man
In Jargeau, the biggest carnival celebrations in the region continue on Sunday 29 January, with the second Réveil de sa Majesté Carnival. In the morning, “Les Blancs”, from 7am, will stroll the city streets with drums and pans to announce the return of Carnival.
The final rise will take place on February 12 before returning to floats and confetti on February 19 and 26.
