2-in-1 work PC with 4K display
Lenovo has updated its range of convertible PCs with the Lenovo Yoga 9i, Yoga 7i in 14 and 16-inch sizes and Yoga 6.
That was it, suddenly Intel, AMD, and Nvidia announced their new laptop chips at CES 2022. In the process, Lenovo brought its newcomer to the Yoga lineup, a 2-in-1 PC that’s very productivity and work oriented. Among those who will benefit from this new processor, we can mention, from the most advanced to the most affordable, LenovoYoga9ithat Yoga7i and Yoga 6. Everything obviously comes with Windows 11.

Let’s start with the most interesting model, which is also, as often happens, the most expensive. The Yoga 9i is a 14-inch convertible PC. As a processor, you can rely on configurations up to the 12th generation Intel Core i7-1260P. It has an integrated graphics processor, Intel Iris Xe, which will be useful for demanding tasks like streaming, video editing, to name just two examples.
This PC also responds well to the Intel Evo standard, which guarantees a premium experience in terms of responsiveness, 75 Whr battery life, etc.
But the real star of the Yoga 9i is undoubtedly its 16:10 4K Oled touchscreen. It is VESA DisplayHDR 500 compliant which in theory allows it to display 100% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum. To stay in HDR, it’s also compatible with Dolby Vision. It offers a refresh rate of 60 Hz.

The sound section is provided by four Bower & Wilkins speakers and several modes (game, music, movie, call) are offered.
To complete this brief overview, let’s add the presence of a fingerprint reader, Full HD webcam with infrared technology, Wi-Fi 6E. It is possible to use the Yoga 9i with the Precision Pen 2 stylus.
The Yoga 9i will be available from the second quarter of 2022 starting at $1,399. Two colors are available: gray and oatmeal.

In short, the Yoga 7i is more or less a premium version of the Yoga 9i. But that’s not all. There are already two formats: 14 and 16 inches.
The 14-inch model retains the screen, but with a slightly lower definition of 2.8K. In 16 inches, we pass the 2.5K LCD screen. Configuration level, you can also go up to Intel Core i7-1260P. On the battery side, the Yoga 7i features 71 Whr, where the 16-inch version tops out at 100 Whr.

The Yoga 7i starts at $899 in the 16-inch size and $949 in the 14-inch size. Both will be available from the second quarter of 2022. As colors, two shades of gray have been selected: Storm Gray and Artic Grey.

As for the Lenovo Yoga 6, its main selling point above all is the PC which is partly made from recycled materials. More specifically, the siding is made of recycled aluminum or 50% recycled plastic. 30% of the power supply is also made of recycled plastic.

The Yoga 6 doesn’t forget to be a true 2-in-1 PC classic with AMD Ryzen 5700U, 13-inch Full HD 16:10 display, Dolby Vision compatible and two front-facing speakers compatible with Dolby Atmos.
