Another piece of good news concerns the broadcast date: while we were concerned there would be a significant gap to the American date, it’s pretty modest the day after The Last of Us will be available on Prime Video, and this is at no additional cost to Amazon service subscribers. Therefore, we were able to find adaptations of the famous American road trips of our two heroes, played by Pedro Pascal (Narcos, Mentalist) and Bella Ramsey (Game of Thrones), starting Monday January 16 in France, and see for yourself how faithful this project is to its original work. As a reminder, Neil Druckmann, co-president of studio Naughty Dog and licensee creator of The Last of Us, will serve as co-director with Craig Mazin (Chernobyl). The series aims to offer an adaptation that respects the original screenplay, but includes scenes that were not seen. which cannot be integrated into the game, and will therefore be spread across the 9 episodes broadcast until March 12th.

Generally, new releases arrive by 9am on the SVOD platform, although there have been exceptions before (such as The Lord of the Rings: the Rings of Power series, broadcast from 3am). The series airs at 9 pm in the United States (East Coast time), which is at 3 am in France, and the broadcast seems to have started to drift off, we may expect availability on monday at 16:00 in the evening on Prime Video in our territories:
The series broadcasts at 3am on the night of the 15th to 16th in the US (French time), it will arrive on Prime the same night of the 16th. So basically every Monday night.
