The Galaxy S22 Ultra gave us a hard time during its testing. Announced as a success thanks to its stunning screen, integrated stylus and multiple photo sensors, it earned our fifth star thanks to its excellent endurance score, with a promise of four years of software updates. This makes up for some of the differences in terms of actual performance: the Exynos 2200 is not quite (at least at the time of its release) at the level expected, and its promises with regard to night photography are only partially fulfilled. If it’s a very good overall versatile and durable smartphone that finally brings the quality of the Galaxy Note to the Galaxy S, it makes a concession that’s hard to forget in its price segment.
Strong point
- Beautiful and bright screen.
- Stylus is no longer an option.
- Finally fast charging.
- An overall photo of excellent quality, especially in 108 Mpx.
Weak point
- The Exynos 2200… is surprising.
- Nightography is less convincing than expected.
NB: Reported price reductions are calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day to the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the past month’s products, with a security rule to exclude prices from shops with unclear VAT policies (known as “ash” stores). -ash”, usually in the case of imports from China).

The Find X5 Pro from Oppo is a very convincing successor to the already very successful Find X3 Pro. This smartphone doesn’t show off in terms of photography, it doesn’t play the megapixel count card, but the processing software. It does its job and its ability to do well, even very well at wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle, compensates for the slightly lower optical magnification than its direct competitors. For the rest, Find X5 Pro has a beautiful appearance, not excessive power, but enough, and good autonomy (not to mention fast charging which is very practical). With such a device, Oppo insists that it deserves a place in the big leagues.
