Spectacle

The Magnac-Laval cultural association put on a show, Sunday January 15th from 5 p.m. in the auditorium. First part: BE (COM), dance, theater, painting. An original creation for all audiences was produced by the Aloual Theater (La Souterraine) with the participation of “Women in Motion”. In the second part: Art Brut and Metamorphoses, shown with the participation of students CM1 and CM2 from the Magnac-Laval school group.

Cinema

Film Inclusion in schools, between the margin and the norm will be projected Tuesday, January 10 at 8:45 p.m., at the Peyrat-le-Château cinema, in the presence of its director, Florent Tillon. Since 2005, schools must accept registration of children with disabilities or health problems that make them disabled. Through two portraits of children educated in traditional schools, this report seeks to hear the difficulties they face, invites multiple reflections and captures the joy that the principle of inclusive education brings to society.

The fishing community of Vienne-Briance holds a tea dance in the Vigen function room Sunday January 15thfrom 14:30.

Lodging

The next Permanent Fair 87 will be held at Caisse d’Allocations Familiales (possibility of presenting yourself without an appointment or 05.55.10.89.89) Thursday January 12th, from 2pm to 5pm (25, rue Firmin-Delage). Consultants will be able to meet with advisers free of charge for any questions related to housing: rent, home ownership, energy transition assistance and home support for the elderly and disabled, etc.

Music

On the occasion of an exhibition devoted to Francis Chigot at the Limoges Museum of Fine Arts through February, the City of Limoges is offering a jazz concert by the group The Rag Messengers. It will run Friday January 13th at 7 p.m., at the Espace Simone-Veil in Limoges (7 rue Neuve Saint-Étienne). This concert invites spectators and exhibition visitors to come and share Francis Chigot’s curiosity about this music, plunge into the world of the 1920s and 1930s.
A great music lover, Chigot was able to translate the rhythm and dynamism of this music into his several stained glass windows, giving saxophone and trumpet pride of place.

Social

Throughout January, Secours’ Châlus branch is popular hosts popular workshops at 2pm, at its location at 2 avenue Jean-Jaurès (former “Le Pré des Lys” inn).
