Xiaomi presents the Redmi Note 11T Pro and Pro+, the strongest smartphones under €250 on the market
After several weeks of speculation around its technical characteristics, Xiaomi has finally lifted the veil on the new Redmi Note 11T Pro and Redmi Note 11T Pro+. The smartphone offers decent performance for a high-end device at a very low price.
In addition to the Redmi Buds 4 and 4 Pro headphones and the new Xiaomi Band 7 bracelet, the Chinese manufacturer has launched a new generation of mid-range smartphones, the Redmi Note 11T Pro and Redmi Note 11T Pro+. Unlike its predecessors which had quite flexible technical sheets, the new models are all about performance.
As leaked a few days ago, these two smartphones are powered properly the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor is etched in 5 nm. Xiaomi announced that the chip reached score of 836,317 points on the AnTuTu benchmark, which makes the new smartphone the most powerful in its segment. Indeed, the latest AnTuTu ranking of the best mid-range Android smartphones shows that the new Redmi Note 11T Pro is way ahead of the competition in terms of performance. This processor is also supported by LPDDR5 RAMtypically found in high-end devices, and cooled by a large 2268 mm² steam chamber.
What’s the difference between Redmi Note 11T Pro and Redmi Note 11T Pro+?
The Redmi Note 11T Pro and Redmi Note 11T Pro+ are two very similar smartphones that differ in two ways: battery size and fast charging. Indeed, the Redmi Note 11T Pro uses a large size 5080 mAh battery and 67 W fast chargingwhile the Redmi Note 11T Pro+ is satisfied with a 4400 mAh batterybut saw its maximum recharge power increased to 120W. Both of these smartphones are equipped with a 6.6 inch FHD+ LTPS LCD screen. Unlike the previous generation, this time Xiaomi abandoned OLED technology. On the back, the smartphone bets on a triple camera setup with a Main sensor 64 MP GW1 1/1.72 inch, one sensor 8 MP ultra wide angle as well as sensors 2MP macro. Redmi Note 11T Pro offered from 1699 yuan (238€) in its configuration with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storagethen 1899 yuan (266€) in the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version, and finally 2099 yuan (294€) for 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Redmi Note 11T Pro + is a bit more expensive, as it starts at 1999 yuan (280€) for the version with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, then 2199 yuan (308€) for 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. The smartphone is also available in a special version featuring the animated character Astro Boy with 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage for 2399 yuan (336 €).
As usual, it will still take some time wait a few weeks before hoping to see both smartphones arrive in France. It’s expected that prices will be revised upwards with us due to taxes, but the smartphone should still maintain excellent value for money. As a reminder, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G has been launched at 369.90 euros in France, while the Pro+ 5G model needs to be priced at 449 euros. Therefore, the price of the new generation should be very similar to its predecessor, but we will have to wait a little longer before knowing more about this.
