When is the Release Date of Tokyo Revengers Season 2?
Tokyo Revengers Season 2 will air on January 8. Because of that, we deserve a new episode every Sunday. Tokyo Revengers takes us on the adventures of Takemichi Hanagaki, a young man who does odd jobs and feels he has wasted his life. One day, he finds out that his high school girlfriend, Hinata Tachibana, has been killed by the vicious Tokyo Manji-kai who are wreaking havoc in the city. In shock, one day he was pushed down the subway tracks following the movement of the mob. To his surprise, he wakes up twelve years ago, while he was in college. A chance for him to relive his best years, but also to change direction by taking revenge on life, but most importantly, by avoiding Hinata’s death. For this, he will be assisted in his quest by Hinata’s brother with whom he has a strange bond. Whenever the two boys touch, Takemichi finds himself transported to the past or present, which allows him to time travel. For the second season entitled Christmas Showdown, we have to witness the great battle on Christmas day between members of Tokyo Manji-Kai and the Black Dragon clan.
Who is the creative behind Tokyo Revengers Season 2?
For the production of the second season of Tokyo Revengers, we found the same studio as the first part: LIDENFILMS. Besides Tokyo Revengers, the company is known for producing anime such as Terraformars, The Heroic Legend of Arslan, the new manga adaptation by Hiromu Arakawa (Fullmetal Alchemist) or The Immune Brigades. For production, we once again find Kouichi Hatsumi who has occupied the same position in the first season, but also worked on Deadman Wonderland and the second season of Blue Exorcist.
What are the cast of Tokyo Revengers season 2?
As for the voice actor, we found the same actors as in the first season. In the role of Takemichi, Yuuki Shin provides the voice for the character, he who we also know as Natsuo in My Hero Academia. As for Sano Manjirou, or Mikey as everyone calls me, Yuu Hayashi is reprising his role after voicing characters such as Ryunosuke from Haikyuu!! or Michizou at Bungo Stray Dogs. For the role of Ken Ryuuguuji, Masaya Fukunishi was in charge of playing him. Finally, to end the last main character, Hinata Tachibana is played by Azumi Waki.
