Released in early October, the Xiaomi Redmi Pad is already on sale thanks to Black Friday. Although the recommended retail price is 279 euros, the version with 64 GB of storage and 3 GB of RAM is currently 179 euros, enough for Christmas fun at a lower cost!
The touch panel market is on the rise again with more and more models coming out. Among the competing manufacturers, there is Xiaomi, which made its comeback in early October with its Redmi Pad. In essence, this tablet saw a price reduction of 100 euros during Black Friday.

On the occasion of Black Friday, it can only be found for 179 euros on AliExpress using the promo code “BFFR30″. The 4+128 GB model costs 199 euros with the same promo code.
It is also found at 249 euros on Cdiscount for the 4 + 128 GB model and 229 euros for the 3 + 64 GB version.

Xiaomi Redmi Pad has a 90 Hz screen which is good for enjoying the series
This entry-level touchscreen tablet has a 10.61-inch LCD display with a definition of 2000 x 1200 pixels, that is, a resolution of 220 dpi and a maximum brightness of 400 cd/m². What’s great about this model is the refresh rate of 90 Hz which offers smoother animations and a more enjoyable feel to use. This is a technical feature that is not commonly found in models at the same price.
It is the ideal device for watching movies and series on any SVoD platform with several hours of battery life in streaming video playback. Especially since we have stereo sound thanks to four speakers compatible with Dolby Atmos. The weight of the Xiaomi Redmi Pad is not a problem because the tablet weighs only 445 grams and is well distributed. However, this Xiaomi tablet is not the thinnest with a thickness of 7.05 mm.
Three colors are available, namely green, silver, and graphite (dark gray).
Enough performance for most uses
On the performance side, there is the Helio G99 SoC from MediaTek with a clock speed of 2.2 GHz combined with 4GB of RAM and ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. On connectivity, we have Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3. A word about photos, we are entitled to an 8 Mpx rear sensor that allows you to record videos in 1080p; the front sensor is also 8 MP. Xiaomi is already updated because the Redmi Pad runs under the MIUI interface, based on Android 12.
The battery has a capacity of 8000 mAh. It’s rechargeable with a maximum of 18 W of power: that being said, you’ll have to wait for it to fully recharge, on USB-C. But on the other hand, there is autonomy, because the manufacturer indicates a maximum of 26 hours of reading texts, 21 hours of reading videos and a maximum of 12 hours of video games.
