Wo Long Fallen Dynasty
Starting next March, a genre like Souls will welcome a serious new representative: Wo Long Fallen Dynasty. This is Team Ninja’s new project (Nioh, Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin) – so let’s assume the team knows the subject… Here, we head to China and the Three Kingdoms with gameplay similar to Sekiro! Basically, of course, you can attack fast or heavy, launch force, but most of all parry blows opponent to increase the “Spirit Bar”. Flintlock Siege of Dawn
In an entirely different visual universe (where the world of the living faces off against the world of the dead), here is Flintlock The Siege of Dawn. Here again, we’re faced with a studio that knows what it’s talking about, for this is A44 Games, to whom we owe the Soul-like Ashen! For now: this new project looks like it’s still around more ambitious. On the Steam page, we talked specifically about “open world” where it will be necessary to use the gameplay “which combines axe, firearms, magic”. In the first gameplay video, we can see a fairly agile heroine, who can jump and rely on the help of a small magical creature – “Enki” – in battle | exploration phase. All in all, both with the universe, which is inspired by Egypt, the combat, we can give a very good surprise.

If you follow video game news and are passionate about Souls-like, you must have heard of Lies of P, the surprise action RPG (developed in South Korea) that got everyone a little more excited with each presentation. This is for two reasons! On the one hand, this project very quickly reminds Bloodborne, which occupies a very special place in the hearts of players, and on the other hand, inspired by accounts that are hard to imagine in a demanding action game, Pinocchio. Yes, in this game, sometimes questions tell the truth or lie to advance in scenarios. But of course, a large part of the experience remains gameplay, which promises to be hugely successful with its whip system and special techniques, and universe, sort of like modern dark fantasy.

Wukong of the Black Myth
Others like Souls look solid and are helped by the choice of setting: Black Myth Wukong. The action-RPG, developed by Game Science, is an adaptation of the Chinese novel Journey to the West, in which a Buddhist monk receives help from a eternal monkey – during the expedition. Obviously, it was this animal that the player embodied… And it really was a beast. As you can imagine, in addition to its trusty staff, the animal can summon a whole host of magical powers: turn into an insect to move faster; split up in a fight; but also create a temporary protective barrier; turned into a well-built creature; freezes the opponent in place. All presented by high-flying visuals. In short, it will be heavy.

Lord of the Fall
After the first part (2014) that didn’t convince audiences, Souls-like Lords of the Fallen is back with a reboot of sorts that promises to be darker, more controlled, yet more ambitious! Yes, on the project’s Steam page, there is talk of an interconnected world “five times” the size of the original game. There, in the skin of the Black Crusader, it will be required killed many demons and especially to prevent the resurrection of the evil god Adyr, who died long ago… In short, it would not be an easy feat. On your side, you will be able to choose one of nine classes, mastering combat described as “tactical” and with “depth”, without forgetting “hundreds of unique brutal weapons”.
