Apple iPhone 13 Pro at the best price?
The iPhone 13 Pro remains Apple’s flagship
The iPhone 13 Pro boasts a premium design with stainless steel edges and a very successful frosted glass back. It has a slab with a diagonal of 6.1 inches and an OLED ProMotion screen. A small plus of the iPhone 13 Pro Max is that the notch has been reduced, but that doesn’t make any real difference, as it doesn’t allow for more information to be displayed. If so far Apple has only offered a 60Hz refresh rate, the iPhone 13 Pro is here to make up for that shortcoming by offering ProMotion and enabling 120Hz for perfect fluidity. The new flagship is therefore better than the previous generation.
Regarding photography, this is one of the points that Apple really emphasizes. Equipped with three 12 megapixel photo sensors, not to mention the famous LiDAR sensor, the new iPhone Pro brings new features. With Smart HDR 4, macro mode to take photos 2 cm from the subject, portrait in night mode, cinematic mode or even telephoto x3, the photo module has improved significantly with a sensor that is 92% bigger than last year. Because of this, the camera is capable of taking very beautiful shots in all conditions, even at night thanks to the available night mode. It’s also capable of recording up to 4K at 60 frames per second, all in Dolby Vision HDR at 10 bit.
Real monster performance
On the performance front, the iPhone 13 Pro is powered by the latest chip from the California company: the A15 Bionic. If the latter is more powerful and more efficient, thanks to the addition of a graphic heart compared to the previous model. Therefore, the user experience is very smooth, whether for multitasking (especially with 6GB RAM), running heavy applications or 3D games with maximum graphics settings. With iOS 15, you benefit from the brand’s latest software innovations, in an easy-to-use interface.
The iPhone 13 Pro is definitely the thickest and heaviest of the 2021 models, and this is explained by the addition of a larger battery which impacts the handling of the smartphone. It’s true that Apple is steadily increasing the autonomy of its iPhones, and the iPhone 13 Pro Max promises about a day and a half of typical use. On the charging side, it’s compatible with 20 W fast wired charging, and 15 W with MagSafe. Be aware that the charging block is no longer included in the box and will therefore have to be purchased separately. Count a little over 1 hour 30 to go from 0 to 100%.
