Kart Rider Drift
Breaking into the kart game market is something that many franchises have tried without ever really managing to seriously compete with Mario. However, few licenses have it under the hood and can you imagine that KartRider Drift has a lot of arguments: not necessarily the most famous in the West, the KartDriver brand, on the other hand, is very popular in Asia, especially in South Korea. Its first steps started in 2004 and gained immense fame, even having enrolled more than a quarter of the country’s population among its players. After several successful iterations, this new masterpiece is aiming to woo the public on home consoles: So this is totally free ultra arcade racing game which, after several trials, will officially launch in January. We will find out there multiple game modes, customizable drivers and karts, colorful themed circuits… That itself, isn’t particularly original, but it has everything you need to enjoy a fluid, dynamic, and highly accessible experience. A game that is cross-played and enjoys a certain reputation thanks to the franchise, we can expect a lot of people from its release. To watch up close.
One Piece Odyssey
This is one of them, a game that will soon offer a serious fan base! Piece Odyssey has something that all fans of the famous franchise have hoped for for many reasons: it will follow the origins of the journey of Luffy and all of his companions. In addition to the plot itself, the game will offer a “world of memory” that will allow you to relive key moments of the saga, featuring cult arcs such as Water Seven. The accent is placed – as the title suggests – on an adventure with a capital A with exploration, ubiquitous dialogue and, of course, good big fights. This time around, the game will be a J-RPG in the pure tradition of the genre, with lots of characters to control for turn-based combat. As such, we’ll be going from head to head moving forward in the story, some having unique abilities essential for passing certain levels: in short, if Bandai Namco’s promise is kept, we could have a nice banger for all Eiichiro Oda fans. manga, who just happened to arrive at his original place.

Spongebob: Cosmic Shake
SpongeBob and his friends are cult characters who rocked many people’s childhoods: the series’ humor is unrivaled and certainly hasn’t finished spreading everywhere in current pop culture, including in video games. Here comes The Cosmic Shake, a new game that should please both young audiences, but also those who enjoy the Battle for Bikini Bottom remake, which is taking place in 2020: the developer is indeed the same, namely Purple Lamp Studios, and it clearly shows in the trailer! Thus we found an adventure and platform game with some action elements, this time taking advantage of the somewhat denser gameplay to build a more modern and more solid adventure. Our sponge, Patrick and his friends will traverse through different dimensions and eras, from knights to cowboys to prehistoric or even pirates. Thus, many levels and biomes are proposed; more than 30 crazy skins are also promised, while the game promises to be faithful to the cartoon with original voice actors (including in French) and a completely 101-song soundtrack from the series. A beautiful and small insert for the end of January.

Seasons: Letters to the future
Lovers of poetry, dream travel and heady nature, you’ve come to the right place! Season: A letter to the future is a very interesting independent game where you take on the role of Estelle, a curious young woman who lives in a village perched in the mountains… where there are no seasons. Looked jealous to find the outside, our heroine gets on her bike to explore the neighborhood, where the season finale marks the end of an era: she must understand the why and how and will capture as many of the memories around her as she can before everything stops. With a hint of melancholy, but also a lot of beauty, this Scavenger signed adventure is based on an artistic direction that will leave no one indifferent and heralds a great journey with shimmering colors and a deep message. We really hope to be blown away as we should be when the game releases, at the end of January.
